Matters handled by attorney-at-law Vadim V. Andreev
Land boundaries overlapping forest land
The state initially sought to invalidate formation and ownership of a plot of about 106 hectares. It later limited the claim to a 16.5-hectare area where the plot overlapped federal forest land. The court ordered the registry details to be changed for that area but rejected recovery of the land because the state had not proved it was dispossessed. The owner retained the remaining approximately 89.3 hectares.
Ownership of an irrigation system
The claimant argued that a rice irrigation system crossed its farmland and interfered with its use. The defence relied on auction purchase records, registration documents and land-survey and technical materials showing the system within the client's parcel. The court found no proof that the claimant possessed the structure, that it was on its land or that its rights were infringed. The claim was dismissed, preserving the client's registered ownership.
